our committees

Committees play a pivotal role in the success and effectiveness of a Chamber of Commerce by providing a structured framework for members to collaborate, contribute, and drive initiatives forward. These dedicated groups serve as think tanks, fostering innovation and strategic planning to address the diverse needs of the business community.

Government affairs

The Las Vegas Asian Chamber of Commerce Government Affairs’ mission is to advocate on behalf of its members, business, and community. The LVACC Government Affairs Committee researches concerns facing the business community. It reviews, informs, and educates members on legislative issues that affect you and your business community. It will implement position statements and reach out to government relations partners to deliver support at the state, local, and federal levels. It will provide updates on pending legislation, sound recommendations, and serve as a liaison to the PAC.

Community outreach

The Las Vegas Asian Chamber of Commerce is committed to enhancing the Asian community. We work towards strengthening the relationships of our diverse communities through leadership, professional development, education, and workforce development. We partner with community resource centers and other Chambers by supporting each other’s mission to unify the Asian American and Pacific Islander (API) community.

The Asian Chamber Foundation has also partnered with CCSD through the Bill Endow Scholarship. This provides scholarships to 15 CCSD Asian students yearly. The mission is to help our young Asian future leaders in their educational journey.

volunteer committee

The membership committee is led by mostly devoted volunteer members who are excited and interested in meeting people. The committee develops, renews, and markets membership through other community events, connecting with members, supporting registration desks on all of ACC’s events, and new member orientation. Also, the committee has subcommittees which are ambassadors and ribbon-cutting committees.
