Scholarship:
Bill Endow was a tireless humanitarian dedicated to education and community service. After his untimely death in 1998 at the age of 61, it felt that something should be done, not only to honor him but to encourage young Asian Americans to follow his example. To that end, a scholarship fund was created by the Las Vegas Asian Chamber of Commerce Foundation in his name to honor Asian American students who demonstrate:
- A commitment to voluntary service in the Las Vegas Community
- Leadership, Citizenship, Scholarship, Service, and Character
- High Academic achievement and a desire to pursue a college education
- Continuous work within the Asian community to promote ethnic and cultural identity
- Participation in athletics, arts, and other school activities.
