Sonny VinuyaPresident

Sonny was born in Quezon City, Philippines. Migrated to the United States in 1986, moved to Las Vegas in 2004. Father is a WW Il Veteran, CPA/Attorney and his mother is a business owner in the Philippines. He has 2 brothers (Roy) Retired CEO of Moldex in the Philippines, (Ric) An allergist-immunologist in Bingham Farms, Michigan and 3 Sisters (Marilou) Deceased, Madeline works for health insurance company in CA and Carmelita who is retired and resided in Aliante, NV. Wife Is Jennifer Vinuya who is a Registered Nurse. He has 2 sons, Ryan who just graduated from UNLV and Alex who is an aspiring journalist in his 3rd year at UNLV.

Sonny joined Nevada State Bank where he is still employed in 2004 after moving to Las Vegas.

Currently he is a Vice President and serves as a relationship manager with the Professional Banking Division. He specializes in Medical, Legal, CPA, Architects and other related Medical businesses 

Sonny has been part of the Asian Chamber of Commerce since 2011, volunteering and chairing different events and coordinating luncheon speakers and mixers. Was asked to join the board in 2014 and was voted in as President in 2016. Sonny has a Business Degree from University of Phoenix. He graduated from Metro advanced leadership program in 2012 and chaired the program the next 2 years. He was part of Nevada State Banks own leadership program in 2014 and a charter member of toastmasters (Nevada State Bank Chapter). 

Sonny enjoys reading self help books and his favorite activities are hiking and cycling. He donates his time to Junior Achievement, Banking for your future programs, Catholic Charities, American Heart Association, Relay for life and the Mission.
